The Salt Creek Watershed is the smallest watershed in Orange County, covering 6.1 square miles. Salt Creek or "Arroyo Salado" is its main tributary.

This watershed is referred to as the "Dana Point Coastal Streams Watershed" by the Regional Water Quality Control Board.
